About Oliveteal Arts

Welcome! I’m excited to have you join me for my next chapter. I’ve spent over 30 years in healthcare with my most recent role centered on supporting health and wellbeing. I’ve always had a passion for art – as it has provided a soothing outlet during times of need. This love of art and a place to de-stress has prompted the creation of Oliveteal Arts. I am a multidisciplinary artist and my offerings will include classes, commissions and fine art creations. As a firm believer in inclusivity – you will be welcomed into my studio!

I hope I can inspire you to take risks and try new and different art mediums and techniques. I know I will be inspired by you too! Frequently, I hear people tell me they are not crafty – or they don’t have a creative bone in their body. I don’t believe this is true! I believe every person is an artist (and for this reason, I won’t just refer to you as a student, client or customer!).

I hope being exposed to different art mediums in an inclusive, non-competitive, experimental and relaxing setting – will allow you to express your inner artist!

As I begin this new venture, I would also like to give back to the community through my art and support female and minority owned businesses. I’ve enjoyed many years volunteering as a certified dog therapy handler and as a guest art instructor in pre-school - middle school classrooms.
